Please read these terms and conditions along with our privacy policy before ordering through our website or apps.

2. ORDERS

YOUR ORDER

We, JAM RETAIL LEEDS LTD, provide a method for you to place an order with your local convenience store. When you place an order, your contract is with that store for the purchase of the products and for the delivery service. To avoid doubt, your contract is not with our data processor, Snappy Shopper, for the purchase of the products or for the delivery service. Snappy Shopper is, therefore, not liable for any damages or any losses that you may incur (except as a result of Snappy Shopper's own negligence), including without limitation in relation to defective goods or products, damages to your order, or late delivery of your order. By ordering via our app or website, you are indicating that you understand and agree to these terms. 

YOUR STATUS

By placing an order through our website or app you warrant that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract with us and that you are at least 18 years old.

ALLERGY INFORMATION

If you suffer allergies you agree to always check the label of purchased items.

ORDERS CONTAINING ALCOHOL, TOBACCO OR OTHER AGE RESTRICTED ITEMS

It is an offence for any person under the age of 18 to buy, or attempt to buy, alcohol, or for any person to buy, or attempt to buy, alcohol, tobacco or other smoking products on behalf of any person who is under the age of 18.

When ordering alcohol, tobacco or other age restricted products you warrant that you are at least 18 years old.

We reserve the right to refuse delivery/collection in accordance with our regulatory requirements and ethical policy in particular:

We will not provide delivery or allow collection if you are unable to provide ID and you look under 25

We will not provide delivery or allow collection to any person who is, or appears to be, under the influence of either alcohol or drugs

We will not provide delivery or allow collection to any person if that person is, or appears to be, purchasing on behalf of someone who is under the age of 18

DELIVERY/COLLECTION TIMES

All delivery or collection times are estimates only, we do not guarantee that that the order will be delivered or ready for collection by the quoted time.

REJECTED/ACCEPTED ORDERS

When you place an order through our app or website, we will send your order to the relevant store. On receipt of your order the store will either accept or reject your order. Although almost all orders will be accepted, there may be times where a store is unavailable to fulfil your order and the order will be rejected. This may be because items are out of stock or the stores unable to make a delivery at that time.

When an order is rejected you will receive a notification by email. Any payment made will be voided. For most banks this will show on your statement within 24 hours, however some banks will take up to 10 days to refund the transaction.

SUBSTITUTIONS/OUT OF STOCK ITEMS

Stores will always endeavour to provide you with the products you ordered, where a product is no longer in stock stores may choose to substitute that product with an alternative. Where an alternative is cheaper than the original product you will be refunded the difference. Where an alternative is more expensive there will be no extra cost.

Any substitutions made will be highlighted on the receipt, please check your receipt on delivery / collection and confirm you are happy with the substituted items.

If you are unhappy with any of the items they can be returned to the driver and you will receive a refund for those items.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

After an order is placed on our app or website, stores are not obligated to accept amendments or cancel the order. However, most will be willing to do so as long as the order has not already left their premises. If you need to amend your order or cancel please contact us directly.

COMPLAINTS & SUPPORT

PRICE MARKED PRODUCTS/PRICING

The price of the item(s) you order will be the price on our site/app at the time you place your order or amend your order. If a new price or promotion is in place after you have placed your order for example, a multi-buy offer or price reduction which may be advertised on the packaging of goods you have ordered, these prices and promotions will not be applied to your order.

FAILED DELIVERY

When JAM RETAIL LEEDS LTD has attempted delivery within the time frame requested by the customer and cannot complete the delivery / order, JAM RETAIL LEEDS LTD / driver will attempt to contact the customer (at least once) using the contact number provided when ordering. If contact cannot be made,JAM RETAIL LEEDS LTD has discretion as to whether additional order charges or temperature sensitive products will be refunded.


3. COUPON/VOUCHER CODES

All coupon/voucher codes are applied to the value of the order being placed, or delivery fee if stated and are subject to our general terms and conditions.

The coupon/voucher code must be entered into the Voucher Code field on the checkout page and applied for the discount to be deducted from the order.

Unless stated discounts cannot be combined and only one offer can be applied to any order. JAM RETAIL LEEDS LTD has the right to exclude certain products or categories from discounts.

Many coupons are only valid for new customers or once per household, attempting to circumvent these restrictions may result in your order being rejected.

Coupon/voucher codes can be amended or withdrawn at any time.


4. COMPETITIONS

JAM RETAIL LEEDS LTD will run competitions on social media and our website or apps. These conditions apply to those competitions.

Competitions are open to residents of the UK aged 18 or over, except employees of JAM RETAIL LEEDS LTD, Snappy Shopper and their friends and family.

Some competitions are run in specific geographic areas of the UK. If you enter a competition that is in a specific area that you do not live in, we will unable to deliver the prize to you.

All data collected as part of a JAM RETAIL LEEDS LTD competition will be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection and as set out in privacy policy.

Prizes may be delivered to winners direct from our suppliers, in case those items are no longer in stock we will provide the winner with a prize of equivalent value of our choice. If a prize is unable to be delivered or collected, JAM RETAIL LEEDS LTD reserves the right to select an alternative winner or re-distribute the prize in a future competition or prize draw. JAM RETAIL LEEDS LTD has no responsibility to anyone who has not collected the prize and no compensation will be due.

By entering a competition, you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.


5. SERVICE CHARGE

As part of the transaction, you will be charged a small service charge for the use of our service. There will be no partial refunds for this service charge in the event some items are unavailable or not accepted. In the event your order is cancelled or refunded in its entirety the service charge will also be refunded.


6. LIABILITY

Our terms and conditions do not exclude or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

We will under no circumstances be liable to you for any loss of profit, sales or other business revenue, loss of goodwill, anticipated saving, or any other consequential loss.

Our maximum liability is the value of your order.

8. DATA PROCESSOR COMPANY DETAILS

JAM RETAIL LEEDS LTD and Snappy Shopper LTD are the 'data controllers' on the apps or website, and Snappy Shopper is the 'data processor'. JAM RETAIL LEEDS LTD and Snappy Shopper LTD have ownership of all customer data for orders placed via our app or website and ensure data security.
